The East End Prints Story

East End Prints was founded by Helen Edwards in 2010 with a simple vision: to bring beautiful, accessible art into people’s homes through digital prints and framed artwork.

With a background as an artist, and years of experience in art publishing at The Art Group Ltd, Helen went on to curate large-scale exhibitions in iconic venues such as Shoreditch Town Hall. Her passion for making art available to everyone then led her to Spitalfields Market, where she sold work by fellow artists and friends.

The success of those early days showed a need for something more permanent. East End Prints opened its first shop in the arches of Westgate Street near London Fields, before moving to our much-loved Brick Lane store, where we’ve thrived for over eight years.

When the pandemic arrived, our business evolved rapidly; expanding the wholesale arm and setting up an additional office to support our growing team. Today, East End Prints proudly represents over 200 artists worldwide, offering 4,000 prints and 2,000 card designs. Our framed art is also supplied as a dropship product to leading retailers including John Lewis, Dunelm, and NEXT.
