Karin Akesson is the creator of Karin Akesson Design, a company selling wall art and inspirational gifts for children. She runs the company together with her husband, David, from their home studio in East London. Karin grew up in Sweden and moved to England in 1997 to study illustration. Shortly after her studies, she started her own business to sell prints with inspirational illustrations and sayings. Karin's two children are the inspiration behind all the products she makes. She wants to create things that they get excited about, make them ask questions and empower and inspire them.

Our prints are made to order in the UK using premium 210gsm acid-free paper and archival inks for long lasting colour.
Our handcrafted obeche wood frames are also UK made and arrive ready to hang. They feature glaze that's lighter and safer than glass, but just as optically clear.
