Coit Creative was founded by Ali Hooten, an illustrator, surface designer and educator who can be found cosy at home drawing or climbing, skiing, and playing in the mountains. Many of her illustrations are inspired by the wild places she spends so much time in and advocating for around the Rocky Mountain West of America. Drawing from a past career as an Architect and University instructor, Ali brings a level of conceptual thinking and technical abilities to every project. She loves creating new work and seeing her art come to life on products. She is especially drawn to minimal and vector-based artwork, simplifying larger scenes into hand-drawn shapes and forms.
Our beautiful art prints are made to order using a giclée printing process, on premium 210gsm acid-free archival paper, ensuring fine art quality with vibrant colour and extended longevity from fading compared to standard prints. All our paper and wood is from sustainable sources.
The glaze used in our solid wood frames is optically the same as glass, but is more lightweight and shatterproof than glass for easier handling and greater safety. The hanging system on the back of our frames allows you to hang your art with a single screw.
