Manmade: Celebrating men who make
Manmade is an event conceived by textile designer Sam Wingate of Mr Wingate . His initiative aims to get more men involved with making and selling and dispel the myth that craft and making is just for the girls.
The Manmade makers were selected by open call, with a panel of industry experts including Etsy, Crafty Fox Market, Mr Wingate, David Nicholls (Telegraph Magazine’s design editor and menswear columnist).
The event will include: A marketplace showcasing male makers & artists/Talks by inspirational designers/ Making workshops/ Live art/ The Rhytym Parlour barber & beard trims/Craft beer bar/ Crafty Fox DJs/ Street food by French & Grace.
