Celebrating Female Founders

We caught up with our director, Helen Edwards and asked the question 'what does a founder look like?'

Well Medusa springs to mind. I used to do everything; sales, marketing, invoices and artist management all from my kitchen table … and guess what? I was pretty bad at most of those things!

As soon as I hired my first person (an apprentice which is all I could afford at the time) I realised the value of others doing what you shouldn’t be doing. The, I then never looked back ... Growing out of the superhuman ‘doing it all’ mode into complete delegation is incredibly empowering for a small business owner and is a wonderful, thrilling ride. I love my team, without them East End Prints wouldn't have grown or have been as successful as it is today.
