Royalty Season: Celebrating our artists

July only means one thing to us - it’s royalty time! 

The month when we pay our artists and illustrators. It gives us huge pleasure to do this as it’s the life blood of what we do and despite publishing only being a side hustle for a good deal of them (yes they run this alongside editorial jobs, exhibitions etc). Art licensing is a great way to make a passive income once the designs have been released into the world! Explore our New In artist collection here. 

Meeting our Artists

It was so great to see Hannah Gilson at The Other Art Fair this weekend as she goes from strength to strength. Her beautiful 9 colour screenprints took the show by storm and Hannah really gets that her work can sell on multiple levels - with a wider reach as digital prints and cards. We focus on getting the work under the noses of our high street retailers and then pay the artists once it’s sold.
