Where Can I Get My Pictures Framed in East London?

Where Can I Get My Pictures Framed in East London?

Posted by Helen Edwards on 15th Dec 2021

We caught up with the owner and founder of East End Prints, Helen Edwards to talk about the very best wall art framing services in East London. Here is what she recommends!

We offer a new bespoke framing service in our Brick Lane shop, but that doesn't mean it's the right kind of framing for you. Here we also offer some examples of what the other local frame shops are offering so you can make your own mind up.

East End Prints

234 Brick Lane, E2 7EB

Customers used to come in and ask exactly this question - "Where can I get a frame for my artwork?". We were already selling the frames off the shelf to our customers so we just expanded the service we offer to our local community.

We offer a small range of bestselling mouldings in Obeche wood - very simple best selling wood frames in a range of white, black and natural oak in 3 frame widths. We also offer mounts. Choose from a whole host of colours. We need around 3 weeks to prepare your order and very rarely are customers disappointed with the quality of the cost. We aim to be price competitive, keeping our offering contemporary and attractive. Click here to check out our framed products, and here to learn more about our bespoke framing service.

We also offer a rather wonderful off the shelf frame which is available online 24/7 or to buy in our Brick Lane store. We offer these frames in a simple set of A3, A2, A1 for those who want to do some DIY. This is an affordable and simplified framing service. Contact Rebecca at info@eastendprints.co.uk for a quote or drop off your prints and come and say hi (not Mondays as we are closed).

To be honest with you, before I ran a framing service I got all my framing done here. I love the owner who has a no nonsense attitude. If you are slow to suggest a frame style you like, he will quickly suggest one for you, even if you wanted something else. Yet to see a website but has long been established a resident of the Brick Lane community and a hit with the street art lovers community. Mid price and quality - definitely good for box frames and float mounts.

Ray's Glass and Frames

Again, another long standing member of the East London community. When I started running artist exhibitions and market stalls, I used to wheel down a trolley and collect my frames from DJ Simons next door to Rays. Nice collection of brightly coloured mouldings and friendly service. Mid price and a family run service - no job is too big.

London Picture Centre

These guys have been in the business for 40 years so they really know their stuff. Highly regarded according to their Google reviews - they recently made their shop a little smaller but still hosting an impressive collection of mouldings and mirrors too. Mid range price.

If you still can't decide then pop in for a chat with Rebecca in our Brick Lane shop.
