Where to Buy Great Art In East London

Now shops and galleries have reopened their doors, it’s time to get out to see and feel some art in the flesh! Who doesn’t love strolling around the painted walls of Shoreditch exploring the latest street art and paste ups? Or popping into a private view filled with wine and art loving Londoners! Here are our personal favourite galleries in the East End…
Jealous Gallery
54 Curtain Rd, London EC2A 3PT
Running since 2008, the gallery and print studio now has 3 gallery spaces: Crouch End, Shoreditch and Tottenham. Jealous has the most brilliant collections of high end screenprint artists such as Anthony Burrill, Charming Baker and Dave Buonaguidi. Average price points around £200-450. Jealous offers glitter, diamond dust, fluorescent for the absolute print connoisseur. Rotating gallery shows with huge private view visitors.
Nelly Duff
156 Columbia Rd, London E2 7RG
Established in 2006, Nelly Duff specialises in Street Art. Much less of a printer (though they do beautiful frames) this gallery is on the international circuit of art fairs. They have a small but perfectly formed space on Columbia Rd with a window display that they regularly rotate so it's worth a visit. Stephen Anthony David's work is also being shown soon which is also worth a look. There are some crossovers with Jealous artists, but generally Nelly Duff has its own own identity. They also seem to stock a Banksy – but only price on application.

Ah, I feel affection to Mark’s wonderful space as we used to print with these guys
before we got too big and moved production to Essex. We started curating shows together way back before our businesses went their separate ways. Now offering more than a print service, they curate contemporary group exhibitions sometimes with a street art twist. You can still get Mark to screenprint for you –and he is one of the best in London. Well worth a visit.

Established online in 2010, but only landing in our spiritual home 3 years ago, our Brick Lane shop offers a collection of affordable limited editions from £10 up to £100. We keep our portfolio browsers fully stocked and you can also buy these editions online.
We sell over 400 different designs from our editions and aim to have the best collection of London inspired prints in this city. We can also frame in house too, we offer a bespoke framing and mounting service for any size print. We love to commission artists to come up with ideas based on trends, such as the Philip Sheffield gold and black foiled type prints for Christmas 2021. Our editions sit well with the Giclee printed collection, where we rotate the stock every 2 months in line with our new campaigns.
