Illustrator Charlie Lambert launched Illustrated by Charlie in 2017 as a passion project. Over the years, the brand has grown into the small community it is today. With themes of empowerment, positivity, and taking care of oneself at the core, the brand's true identity emerged during the 2020 pandemic. This is when Charlie, along with many others, struggled with their mental health, and turned to art as an outlet. Her signature bright, retro style is influenced by seventies fashion trends and created with a combination of digital and hand painting.
