"East End Prints started with £500 in the bank, a newborn baby, and a belief that independent artists deserved a better route to market."
Helen Edwards, Founder & CEO, East End Prints
East End Prints was founded in 2010 with a simple belief: great art should be part of everyday life. Not locked behind gallery walls. Not reserved for collectors. Not priced beyond reach.
Having spent time in the art publishing industry, founder and CEO Helen Edwards expanded the reach of great artwork to a wider audience.
"There's extraordinary creative talent out there that we publish and get to market in our many trade relationships. I never get bored of the exciting and gorgeous work that comes through our door."
What started as a small East London venture is now a key platform for independent artists and contemporary design. Working closely with illustrators, photographers, painters and printmakers, East End Prints puts artists at the centre while making exceptional artwork more accessible to customers.
From its early days selling at East London markets to supplying some of the UK's best-known retailers, East End Prints has remained committed to the same principles. Champion creativity. Support artists fairly. Produce beautifully made products. Stay curious. Keep evolving.
Today, East End Prints works with around 200 artists, publishes thousands of contemporary artworks and supplies retailers, interior designers, hospitality projects and customers around the world. Every print is produced to order in the UK, reducing waste while maintaining the highest standards of quality.
We're proud of how far we've come, but the mission hasn't changed.
Our Values: Guiding Every Decision
Artists First
Artists are creative partners, not content suppliers. Fair contracts, royalties, visibility, and long term relationships sit at the heart of everything we do.
Community
We are deeply rooted in the East End — in independent shops, trade fairs, studios, and shared culture. We show up, support, and stay connected.
Craft & Quality
From paper choice to framing to print accuracy, quality is non negotiable — whether we're producing one print or thousands.
Sustainability
Everything is printed on demand in the UK. No warehousing, no excess stock, less waste — and more freedom to take creative risks.
Accessibility
Galleries can be intimidating. Art shouldn't be. We exist to bring exceptional work into people's homes — to live with, enjoy, and cherish.
