Planet Patrol - Over the past year or so I became aware of an interest and enthusiasm in the history of local areas for people living in and around the Hackney area, working or holidaying nearby. This then led me to create a series of limited edition, screen printed maps. The images that we create are drawn from old 18th-century maps, which provide a fascinating glimpse into Old London, showing the development of local areas that we know and love, as well as providing a personally relevant statement to hang on the wall. Through the use of bold typography and a contemporary colour palette, we have given the maps a new identity with a vibrant, fresh appeal.
Our beautiful art prints are made to order using a giclée printing process, on premium 210gsm acid-free archival paper, ensuring fine art quality with vibrant colour and extended longevity from fading compared to standard prints. All our paper and wood is from sustainable sources.
The glaze used in our solid wood frames is optically the same as glass, but is more lightweight and shatterproof than glass for easier handling and greater safety. The hanging system on the back of our frames allows you to hang your art with a single screw.
