East End Prints range manager and collection curator, Sophia Ward, talks us through her top five new launch picks from the Autumn Winter Season!
Melting Disco Ball by Sammy Hearn
I love the 70’s and cinematic feel this abstract disco ball print gives. There’s something mesmerising about the way it seems to melt; it feels almost surreal, like it’s alive and in motion. The giant sparkle makes me feel like im on the dance floor, it has an energy and a warmth too it, its not a static disco ball, it's moving and it has its own rhythm. This would make such a cool statement in your living room!
Joyous Florals by Mahin Hussain
This print just radiates so much joy! The detail in the pattern and the bold, saturated colours make it impossible to ignore, it’s so vibrant and full of life. I especially love how beautiful it looks in A1 size; you can really get lost in the details. Mahin clearly has a gift for colour combinations - they always feel instinctive but perfectly balanced. It’s the kind of print that can transform a whole room.
Leopard Shoes by She Snacks and Paints
I couldn’t not pick this one. I’ve always had a soft spot for leopard print, and this version feels particularly fun and full of personality. It has this sweet, happy vibe while still celebrating the unconventional. The painterly style and minimal colour palette make it feel modern and expressive at the same time. It’s like a love letter to individuality and all things quirky, it doesn’t take itself too seriously, and that’s exactly why I adore it!
Date Night by Susie Miller
This table scene reminds me of a cute date night; delicious tapas and happy hour cocktails - yum! The rich, warm colours draw you in straight away. Knowing that Susie paints everything by hand adds to the charm of this piece; you can really feel her personality in every brushstroke. There’s a joyful spontaneity to her work that makes it feel human and relatable.
Half A Dozen Oysters Please by Jazmine Joye
I absolutely adore Jazmine Joye’s work. Her style already feels so distinct because she uses that tight, considered colour palette and her abstract, flat compositions are such a refreshing combination. I love how she uses stars and borders throughout her designs; those little details make each piece feel unique and full of character. I’ve recently become a bit obsessed with oysters, so this one instantly caught my eye!
